Another Group of Songbird Cards

Here is another group of cards I made using that Songbird paper stack I found on clearance. I just love how cheerful they are, with their bright colours and bits of sparkle.

This group is also all an A2 size. I didn't have any square envelopes back then, so didn't make many square cards at all. Now, I'm addicted to them.  ;-)

This card has heavy pearlized green cardstock panel - it matched the greens in the paper stack perfectly!

As in the first group (posted HERE on April 21 2012) I used ribbon, foam tape, Stickles and Crystal Effects to embellish the cards.

Buttons would have made cute additions, but they are so hard to mail. Since I was making so many of these cards for my stash, I didn't want a whole bunch of cards that would require extra postage sitting there. I also don't like to give cards that require extra postage as a gift to anyone. So - no buttons on these ones, but I DID think about it.  The Crystal Effects gives a nice raised effect instead.

I hope everyone is having a good week - thanks for stopping by today!

  2. These are fabulous Karen! I think we're all thinking of other ways of giving our cards interest and dimension in these days of increased postage.
