Seize The Birthday, First Challenge Card

Yay!  The first sketch is up at the new 'Seize The Birthday' challenge blog.  This week we are to use the sketch and create a feminine birthday card, so this is the one I came up with:


Here is the sketch:


The blue patterned paper is pearlized and adds a nice subtle touch of elegance to this 6.5 x 5" card. I added a K&Co 3-d flower sticker to the white fancy label, then stamped the greeting with blue ink on a white scrap that was trimmed into a flag.


I also decorated the inside, and stamped this lovely flourish on the envelope.


 This card is going nto my card box - I won't need it until early next month.
