I still enjoy using the Pennant Parade (SU) stamp and punch set. I had a scrap of the blue patterned paper in my scrap bin, so used it to make this birthday card for my stash. I used a small hole punch on each side, barely nipping the edge. It's enough for the string to nestle in and not slide off the front of the card.
The card is 4.5" x 6", and I think it has enough of a masculine feel to work for Masculine Card Monday!
