Another New Home Card

I am going to try to stay away from challenges this month. June is going to be crazy busy around here, and while I will be in my studio I need to be focusing on items other than challenge cards. Come July I'll get back at it. Please forgive me for not keeping up with my comments on your blogs this month.

My parents wanted me to make them a card to send to our DD and family, who have just moved into their new home.

I used another sheet of patterned paper from the same MME paper stack as my card HERE, and covered the front of a 5x7" card.  The label (Tim Holtz) as die cut out of white card stock, and the images were stamped with black ink. I stamped the house again on scraps of patterned paper, and paper pieced it over top of the stamped one.

A little glitter on the clouds and ground, to match the glitter in the paper, and some soft colouring with chalks (sky) and Water Colour Wonder crayons (grass) by Stampin' Up.

The stamps used inside the card are by My Favorite Things.  None of our kids have ever lived in a different city than us, but at least the town our DD is moving to is nice and close to us. Apparently my apron strings are shorter than one might think.  :-)

Thanks for stopping by today.
