Sparkly Butterfly Cards

Hubby was good enough to swing into a scrapbook store on the way home from Red Deer this Spring. I found this PRETTY sparkly butterfly paper, and the coordinating polka dot and bought myself one sheet of each. Then used one of the sketches (FTL136?) at the Clean And Simple Stamping Blog to make these two cards:

They are the larger cards from Michaels and I just love how they turned out. I even used RIBBON on them!!  (Pink ribbon from Stampin' Up)

I used my Stampin' Up butterfly die and the Big Shot to cut out the 2 butterflies, and ran the white one through again with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder. Glitter was added on the top butterfly. Then I added a gem brad, and curved the top butterfly wings a little.

Sorry I don't have any more credits that this, but I made these in April and misplaced the notes.

Thanks for stopping by today!
