Happy July Card

Good morning friends

Every July I send my Mom an Ice Cream card. Back in the day, her Dad would take her for ice cream after a parade in their town.  We like to make sure she has ice cream in early July even it if comes in the form of a card. Traditions can be a good thing, especially when they bring back happy memories.

I used a couple of Pop it Ups dies by Karen Burniston for this one ... even though it's a flat card. Pop it Ups dies are very versatile!  I've made ice cream cones before using these dies, but in case you missed it - the cone is an upside down Party Hat (from Props 2) and the ice cream is the small cloud from the All Season's Tree.  With a healthy coating of Stickles, of course!

I was able to use the Bow Builder Punch as well as a Blueprints die set. This would also make a fun Birthday Card, I'm thinking.

Supplies:
Blueprints #23 - MFT
Patterned paper - DCWV
White card stock
903 Katie Label Accordion (Stitched Label), Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
949 Props 2 (party hat turned into ice cream cone), Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
781 All Seasons Tree (clouds turned into ice cream), Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Embossing Folder - Stampin' Up
Stickles
Bow Punch - Stampin' Up
Patterned paper for bow - Basic Grey

Thanks for stopping by today
