C4C247 Leafy Birthday Card … with Bunting!

Good morning friends!  Saturday means it's time for another challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Helen Cryer is our hostess for August, and she wants to see BUNTING (Banners) on our cards.  Helen makes the most amazing bunting cards EVER, and you will want to see what the whole Crazy 4 Challenges Design team comes up with for this challenge.

I used Peel-Off stickers for most of the embellishments on my card, and of course Pop it Ups dies by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Here is a peek at the inside … I hung my bunting off of Bakers Twine that is strung between two poles. The poles are attached to either side of the optional bump outs that cut with the Lots of Pops die.

You can see I added Peel-Off border stickers on the Bunting pieces as well.

The banner was done by die cutting the fish-tail banner twice … once from yellow patterned paper and once from orange. The orange one was cut in half and layered under the yellow one with foam tape.  The Birthday Cake Peel-Off  was coloured with Tombow Markers, then I added Glossy Accents to make it look almost enamelled.

We would sure love you to play along with the challenge, and link up your project. Be sure to check out what the rest of the Crazies have come up with for the challenge, at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.  (If you link up to an on-line gallery, please use the keyword C4C247.)
