Gift Card Enclosures

Recently my Mom asked if I happened to have any extra gift card envelopes laying around, and I had to say no. But I have quickly rectified that!
I used a Sizzix die in a way that it was probably not intended. But it works perfectly! The idea behind these, is I wanted something fairly flat that would fit inside an A2 greeting card but would not be completely plain.

The little owl stamp below is by Studio G - from the bargain bins at Michaels. The (WONDERFUL) kraft printed paper is a new paper stack at Michaels by Recollections that I could not resist with it being KRAFT.  I {heart} kraft card stock.  I {heart} patterned kraft even more!

That bracket shaped flap is supposed to fold over on the OUTSIDE of the card. I added a strip of quick drying glue at the fold line, which keeps the flap securly folded to the inside and holds the gift card / cash / cheque in place. There is room to write something as well.

The two leaf enclosures use a Tim Holtz Tattered leaf die and the patterned paper is from the Stampin' Up clearance rack. Double sided papers make them SO easy peasy.

These next two have the most dimension of all the ones I made, due to the (oh-so-CUTE) puffy felt stickers. The label is a Tim Holtz die.

Finally, there are some pretty floral ones.

Mom, if you are reading this - close your eyes.  I'm putting together a package of these for my Mom for her Christmas Stocking.  She's gonna be so surprised!

Thanks for stopping by today.
