Santa Cards

This week I actually get to play along with the challenge at the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown!!  They are asking you to feature Santa/Father Christmas on your card and this patterned paper was perfect. Perfect!

With all the layers and foam tape, these  5.5" square cards are heavy, and will end up being hand-delivered or included in a parcel.  Since that was the case, I was able to add a pretty ribbon and bow to each one.

This picture gives you a better idea of the lovely pearlized sheen on the paper. I didn't add any stamping to the front, as I didn't want to distract from the somewhat subdued image.

Two more cards to add to the Christmas Card stash!

Thanks for stopping by today.

  5. This is one of those times when it's best to just let the designer paper do the work for you. The bow is the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for sharing your work in this week's 52{C}CT challenge! :)
