Sympathy Card for a Special Dog

Sympathy cards are always hard to make, and this one was no exception. Our friends had to suddenly say goodbye to their furry kid, and I wanted to make them a card to let them know we understood how hard it is and that we were thinking of them.


Their dog was black, so I fashioned Buster the Dog to resemble him and added a little heart on his collar. Their dog had the biggest heart - he was an absolute sweetheart.


The card base was created using the Rectangle Pull Card by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I also used the spinner that comes with it to animate the paw print heart. Below you can see how I positioned the spinner:



We wrote our note on the white panel on the right.
