Butterfly Pull Card

Good morning friends

I wanted to try a different (for me) colour combination and this is what I came up with. I used a new (to me) technique and several of Karen Burniston's Pop it Ups dies. The card base was die cut with the Rectangle Pull Card, I added Butterflies from the Butterfly Pivot and Accessory dies, and rectangles from the Accordion Rectangle.

The tuck slot keeps the card in the closed position but when the recipient pulls the card open, the large inside butterfly spins up and into view.

The 'new to me' technique I used, shows on the butterfly bodies and on the silhouette base from the front butterfly. I covered a piece of transparency with the new Elizabeth Craft Designs Transparent Double Sided Adhesive Tape. Then I sprinkled on the Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and polished it in with my fingers. When the pieces are die cut, they are still transparent!

The inside butterfly overlay was cut from a white sparkly card stock.

I was so happy with how this card turned out!
