I am becoming more and more enamored with owls. The Stampin' Up Owl punch is on my 'Wish List', but for now I have to be satisfied with my little Sizzlet Owl die. I used it here with a Sizzix Movers & Shapers Card die to make this peek-a-boo card:
I'm happy with how it turned out - I used a couple of other punches and dies from my stash so the owl wasn't just 'floating' inside the card.
After I took the picture, I realized I'd forgotten to stamp the words inside so I did that and took another picture:
I like that while the card is an A2 size, it is long but still opens from the side. I'm not a huge fan of top fold cards since they seem to fall flat and don't stay open when on display.
I'm also not a huge fan of trying to cut an 8.5 x 11" sheet of card stock at the 4.25 mark and keep it straight for the whole 11" length. The Movers & Shapers Card die makes it so easy to cut this size of card, and I can use any of my Movers and Shapers inserts to cut shaped windows from the front.
I am having SO much fun with my new dies, now that I can finally get into my studio again.
