Bright and Cheerful Cards, Group 1

Last summer I found a small paper stack on clearance at Winners and was taken with the bright, cheerful colours and prints. Since there were only a few sheets in the stack, I came home and cut them all down into card bases & panels ... then never looked at them again until a few weeks ago.

Now I have a good selection of bright and cheerful cards for my stash, and one less pile to look at in my studio.

For all the cards I used card stock from various places and Bakers Twine tied around the stacked butterfly bodies. I like the way the ends past the knot resemble antenna.  Artistic License  :-)

Scalloped border die by My Favorite Things, butterfly die by Stampin' Up.

Butterfly  & circle punches by Stampin' Up, word stamp by Papertrey Ink, small doily die by My Favorite Things.

This one is my favourite of the three ... the stack had a few sheets with a scalloped border, and is probably the reason the paper stack came home with me.

Thanks for stopping by today!
