Crazy 4 Challenges, Colour Challenge #237

Good morning friends!

It's Saturday, and that means a new challenge by the Crazies ... this one is a colour challenge.

I have to say I loved working with these colours!  I used the Katie Label Pivot for the card base.

To create the patterned hot air balloon, I stamped it twice on white card stock. I die cut the first one and coloured in the basket with Copic markers. I stamped the dot background onto the second balloon with turquoise ink and added some shading with Copic markers. Then I fussy cut just the balloon portion and adhered it to the die cut balloon.  What a quick and easy way to add pattern and colour to this balloon - I am going to use that technique again for sure!

I did use the Kraft ... I coloured the basket on the balloon with a Kraft coloured Copic marker, and I cut some hills from Kraft card stock to attach across the bottom inside edge.

How cute are these little die cut banners?

Finally, here is the card view from the top and the back ...

Please be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the team has for you using these colours, and we'ld love you to play along!

I will bring this card to show at my next Demo with Paper Pastimes in Calgary, then it will go into my card donation box for Seniors Secret Service.
