Good morning friends
It's Masculine Card Monday here on my blog, and I have a Pop-Up Birthday card to share today.
It's a little hard to see in the photo, but the white panel was embossed with Karen Burniston's Cloud Stencil. The sun is from the Oval Pull Card and the border is from the Pull Card Edges. I cut the scallop edge cut twice, one upside down and them used the leftover centre strip from the centre as my border.
Inside is a popped up Hot Air Balloon! I love Hot Air Balloon images and this one goes together so slick. It comes with a separate Pop-Up platform, which you can cut anywhere you choose on the fold. I put this one right in the centre as I knew I wanted to add a little banner to the lower bump. While it's good for all kinds of things, a Hot Air Balloon is perfect for masculine cards and I know we often struggle with making those.
I also used one of the new Stage it Stencils for the clouds, birds and sun. Stencils are HOT in the crafting community these days.
Here is a side view so you can see the Pop-Up portion a little better ...
