LIM Week 27 ... Colour Card

The challenge at Less Is More this week, is to make a CAS (Clean And Simple) card using the colours of your country's flag. So for me, that's red and white. I had no shortage of ideas of red and white cards but the CAS part was tripping me up. I had pretty much decided not to participate when I saw Jenny's card at Crafting in the Country. Her great Candy Cane card inspired my snowflake one!  Thanks Jenny!

This is a 4.25" square card, and I used one of the large felt snowflakes I bought last year from the Stampin' Up Clearance Rack. I have had SO much fun with those snowflakes!


I used a Sizzix snowflake embossing folder for the 4" square white panel, and some ribbon from Michaels. A little red gem in the center of the card and ... done.

    Oh I really love your canadian Christmas card...those felt snowflakes are amazing...I wouldn't want to use them :)
    Love that EF too..I've just ordered a selection of them after seeing them in use on crafters blogs!
