Good morning friends!
I have a fun card to share today, using one of Karen Burniston's new Character dies. Karen's Design Team has been having SO much fun with these dies and we know they will be very popular. They will be shipping mid-July and they ship world-wide.
For the front of this card, I trimmed just Hoppy's head and popped it up with a double layer of foam tape. Those little fly's are SO much fun ... and that die comes with Hoppy!
I also used one of Karen Burniston's embossing folders ... there are lots of great embossing folders at Elizabeth Craft Designs, and you can check them out HERE. I've been playing with different card sizes lately, since the Pop it Ups dies allow YOU to choose the size of your card. This one is not quite an A2. It's 4-1/4" wide, but only 5" tall. Still fits in a standard A2 envelope and mails for a single stamp.
I made an accordion card for my Elizabeth Craft Designs demo at Paper Pastimes and used black card stock to cut polka dot Frame Edgers. I had added double sided adhesive to the card stock before cutting them, and I was left with a bunch of black self-adhesive dot scraps. Ah HAH - perfect for character eyes!
For the inside, I used the Lucy Label Pop Up die, and added Hoppy to the top bump that cuts with the die. Hoppy is cut from a green velvet sheet - such a fun way to use those!
